Designing a garage door motor intended for DIY installation. Currently, there is a motor available in this range for professional setups. However, in order to offer a clear visual distinction for the new product and to better appeal to the DIY market, it was necessary to completely rethink the design while maintaining Somfy's identity.

To address this situation quickly, I was tasked with designing a new aesthetic for the motor while adhering to the existing technical constraints : software, hardware, and packaging.
Completing this design in just two weeks was a true challenge.

The product features a simplified design with a clean surface and a light color, making it discreet and harmonious in its environment. The interface (IHM) is seamlessly integrated, enhancing the overall sleek and elegant aesthetic. The circular lighting, designed to symbolize light, is activated only during use, providing clear and purposeful functionality.
