As I explored Polène’s new field of expression in jewelry, I was inspired to take on the challenge of designing one myself. Drawing from their artistic direction, which is deeply rooted in nature with the ripples of the wind and the textures of rock sculpted into the material, I created a ring.
The inspiration
Starting from the assumption that I was not familiar with the brand, I first explored their iconic products, the bags.
The curve of the handle on the Numéro Neuf bag seemed like a great starting point, balanced between delicacy and strength. From this inspiration, I wanted to combine this line with a strong texture, reinforcing the idea of sturdiness, as if the ring had been trapped in rock for centurie.
